Coconut oil is a saturated fat, and that is a good thing. A little known fact is that the body requires saturated fats, in direct contrast to the prevailing media message from the soya lobby. And, the most stable, and healthfull saturated fat available is from coconut.
We use it to (occasionaly) fry with (the stability of the oil is most important here), make raw chocolate with (think ‘Bounty’ only better) and for skin care. The Coconoil brand is high quality, strong in taste and we love it.
Available in large size 454g tubs so it lasts a good while.
